Iguazu’s National Park boasts a thundering 250 separate falls which straddle 2km in length between Argentina and neighbouring Brazil, making a truly dramatic spectacle. The ‘cataratas’, as they are known, can be viewed from both countries, however it is the ‘Devils’ Throat’ which lies at the heart of the falls, where the cascading water brings a welcome contrast to the steamy heat and intense blue skies. The park also boasts a fascinating sub-tropical forest full of exotic animals, birds and insects, making a stay at a rainforest lodge a natural fit.
